Our Philosophy - About Us
A New You has a philosophy that each massage is to rehabilitate and revive the body. A perspective of therapeutic massage first allows Dustin to create an atmosphere of true focus on the physiology in each massage. Truly a "new you" should come from each visit.
Dustin Brown is an experienced massage therapist that specializes in therapeutic massages. His understanding of the human body from a medical perspective is key to relieving pain and identifying problem areas that others may miss.
Having been personally massaged through his own experienced, Dustin knows what works for specific problems. In a severe car accident in the late 1990's, Dustin received months of treatments to recover. This taught him many techniques and skills that aren't learned easily. Knowing individual muscle and tension areas in correlation to other parts of the body were learned first hand through Dustin's experience in recovering from his accident.
Dustin has worked at hospitals in the Boise area. He also managed therapy on a Semi-Pro football team from Boise. This hard hitting sport created it's own challenges. But his experience also transcended football. He worked with the Ballet of Idaho group where a completely different type of massage was needed. Dustin also worked with the St. Luke's of Idaho Rehab patients. Professional care was required on patients with injuries and some severe trauma, requiring a skill set Dustin knows well.
Your first visit Dustin will question you and find out your specific needs. All of the concerns with a first massage can be answered by Dustin. He will understand your privacy needs, if needed, and will accommodate you like few can. Record keeping of the areas that require attention are accounted for on each visit, assuring progress in your personal massage health.
“I had some severe problems with my hands. I was skeptical a massage that related specifically to the hands would work, until I began visiting A New You.”
